“For me, Yoga is a lifelong experiential journey, both in and out of the classroom. I do my best to bring it into everything I do: my relationships, my work, my art, my anger, my joy, my cooking... everything! I look forward to sharing this wonderful practice with you.” Monika

Monika is a Certified Practitioner in Ayurvedic Medicine, Nutrition, and Lifestyle Counselling, as well as a Yoga Teacher. She offers a bespoke and comprehensive approach to health and wellness. Her practice is rooted in the holistic philosophy of Ayurveda, which seeks to identify and address the root causes of health disorders, rather than merely treating symptoms.
Monika grew up in Eastern Europe, where herbal treatments were a way of life, passed down through generations. Her grandmother’s ‘apothecary’ treated common family ailments with herbs foraged from the garden, meadows, and forests. This wisdom is now at risk of being lost as modern lifestyles take precedence, leading to health imbalances.
Monika’s yoga journey began two decades ago, transforming her understanding of physical capability into a life-changing exploration. She learned from esteemed teachers in the UK and India, exploring various yoga styles and respecting the body’s needs. Her study of Ayurveda led to significant personal gains in energy and strength, driving her passion to share this knowledge.
She believes true harmony can only exist when one lives in balance with nature and the universe. Monika is dedicated to helping others achieve this balance through personalized Ayurvedic and yoga practices.
